Everybody is workin’ for the weekend!

Wow what a week! It seemed like it was never going to end! I was just busy, busy, busy! It was so nice to just chill out and relax with the hubby on Friday night!

Saturday was lots of fun! I went shopping with my mom during the day and then Heather and Nick came over last night and we had a blast! I was so excited to finally get my Okra and Tomatoes print!!

I am ordering strawberries to go in my living room! =) Strawberries and tomatoes are two of my very favorite foods! You can check it out on her blog “A Little Rhinestone Never Hurt Anybody.”

I spent a good bit of time today glued to the computer. I had to update the classroom blog and add all of the new Flat Stanley’s and pictures from the Tall Tale/Fable book projects. It was a lot of time on my part, but so worth it! I am always so impressed with the quality of work that my students produce. I am thinking later I will pull out the stamps and play. I haven’t done that in a while.

Ooh! I bought two books at the book fair this week. One is a children’s book illustrated by favorite illustrator, David Catrow. It is called “I ain’t gonna paint no more!” It is so cute!! If you haven’t seen it, you really need to check it out! The other is the story of my life. It is called “Rules” by Cynthia Lord. It is about a twelve year old girl with a brother named David who has autism. Sound familiar? Gets better….she makes friends with someone named Jason! Haha! It is a Newbery Honor book and I have heard it is great! I just started reading it last night. So far, so good!
