Patience is a virtue!

I just have time to make a short post this evening, but I wanted to share.

This is my thing for the day, my newest applique.  It is much cuter in person than in the picture.  I promise!

It will be on a brown drawstring skirt.  I am thinking of embroidering either “Sweetie” or “Cutie” with it.  (It is a pie, not a cupcake. - I am sure you can’t tell from the pic.)  Which word do you think would be better? I forgot to take a picture of my stack of fabric for the quilted tree.  I will have to remember to do that later!

I also promised to show a picture of my new necklaces that go with my pendants.  Here you go!

The Bluest Eye is really much more vibrant that the picture suggests!  I have really got to find a spot in this apartment with good lighting. (Reason number 98,458,663,420,994,835,729,384 that I NEED a house!)

I was going to put the picture of my wax toes on here, but alas, I forgot to snag that pic off of the camera.  I need to add that to my To Do list.  I did the wax again tonight!  It felt so good!  Jason has even gotten into it.  (Shh! Don’t tell!)

On the job front….I won’t find out until NEXT week!  Aaagh!  The suspense is killing me!  I got an email from the principal again today saying that they are coming close to the end of the whole process and would hopefully have some news for me next week.  She apologized for how long the process was taking and thanked me for my patience.  If this wasn’t such a prized position, I would be so over it, but I am hanging in there.  This job could mean wonderful things for me.  Please keep me in your prayers!

Here I am pouting (or Grouching) as Jason would say.  Haha  - and not that I have anything to really be grouching about!  I just like making faces!  =p  WOW my hair looks really dark in this picture.  Heather is it really that dark?!
