Life is too short to wear an ugly dress!

Bruise is my favorite color!

First off, let me say that antibiotics and ibuprofen 600 are wonderful!  I feel so much better.  Next…I want to be a roller derby girl!

I went to my very first Roller Derby tonight!  J and I went to the National Guard Armory to watch the Savannah Derby Devils.  Our friend Sue, AKA Ms. Betty Luvsit, is one of the derby devils.  It was so much fun!  They tied and then lost by 2 points in over time.  Even though they lost, it was still a good time had by all!  We sat in what was called the “Suicide Section.”  No one under 18 is allowed to sit there.  Basically the “Suicide Section” is on the floor right near the track.  Next time I will bring a cushion to sit on.  My behind was numb by the end.  I am also really set on getting my own Derby Devil horns.  H – You and I really need to join!  Hmm…what would our derby girl names be?  That could be really fun to create!  If I don’t feel confident enough on skates to be a derby girl, maybe I will be a jeerleader (their version of a cheerleader)!  I tried to take a few pictures, but I am not sure how they turned out.

For more on the Savannah Derby Devils check out their myspace page!

I have to get up extra early tomorrow morning to go to mass.  My students are taking their first Holy Communion.  I need to go and support them.  =)

On the crafting front, I must confess…I didn’t do anything besides blog surf for more inspiration.  I have so many ideas and no idea where to start.  I just need to make a project wish to-do list and get started.  I did get a mountain of laundry done today so I do feel somewhat productive.

Well…I am off to go start on that list!
